It’s been a long time. I’d love to see you again.
Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of teaching thousands of violinists, creating lessons and videos, and building friendships through music.
Some of you took lessons with me. Some watched my videos. Some bought a violin from one of my old companies. And for many of you, it’s simply been a very long time since we’ve connected.
So I thought it would be fun to bring everyone together again.
Join me for a special online Violin Family Reunion — an evening to reconnect, reminisce, share some stories, and talk about the next chapter.
This Isn't a Webinar.
There’s no big presentation to sit through.
No complicated agenda.
And no expectation that you need to buy anything.
I really just want to reconnect.
We’ll talk about the old days, hear what everyone has been up to, share some memories, and probably tell a few stories I haven’t thought about in years.
I’ll also share a little about where life has taken me — and why, after being away for a while, I’ve decided to come back to teaching violin.
A Lot Has Happened Since Then.
For many years, violin was a huge part of my life. I taught private students, built violin businesses, created hundreds of videos, wrote Fiddle For Dummies, and worked with musicians around the world.
Then life changed, and I stepped away from the violin world for a number of years.
But I never completely stopped thinking about teaching. Eventually, I realized something:
“I still believe helping people learn and enjoy the violin is one of the things I’m supposed to be doing with my life.”

I may pull out the violin and share a little music during the evening.

I’ll share why I’m returning to violin education and give you an early look at the vision behind Lumen Corda.
We'll keep things relaxed and conversational.
This isn’t meant to feel like a seminar.
It’s meant to feel like getting a group of old friends together again.

Introducing the
Next Chapter: LumenCorda
LumenCorda is the project that has brought me back to teaching.
The idea behind it is simple:
Help People Become Lifelong Violinists.
Not just people who complete a course or memorize a few songs, but people who build a relationship with the violin that lasts for decades.
I’m building lessons, resources, classes, and a community designed to support violinists throughout that journey.
During the reunion, I’ll give you a first look at where it’s all headed.
There’s absolutely no requirement to join anything. I simply want the people who were part of the earlier chapters of my life to be some of the first to see the new one.

It’s strange how quickly the years pass. Students grow up. Families move. People lose touch.
But every once in a while, you get the chance to reconnect with people who were part of an important chapter of your life.
That’s what I want this evening to be.
A reunion.
Some music.
Some stories.
Some memories.
And maybe the beginning of another chapter together.
